The film Gravity Was Everywhere Back Then premiered at the IFC Center, New York, earlier this year and was a Critic’s Pick in the New York Times. Best known for his animated films and performances, Gravity is Green’s first feature-length film with live actors. He will perform the soundtrack for the film live with guest musicians Brendan Canty from Fugazi, John Swartz from Guy Maddin’s orchestra, and Donna K., who plays Mary in the film.
The screening is presented in conjunction with the U.S. premiere of a new and monumental installation by Green at the ASU Art Museum, Gravity Was Everywhere Back Then
