another upcoming event!

November 24, 2008

While the holidays are quickly upon us, we still have things going on at ASU Art Museum! The evening of December 2, our latest installment of Night Moves takes place. Night Moves is part of Night Series, in which the Museum partners with the Herberger College of the Arts departments of Theatre & Film, Music or Dance. Night Moves is the partnership with Dance, get it? :)

So, at 7pm on Tuesday, December 2, MFA student Yeongwen Lee will host a short workshop out on the plaza that discusses body movement and space. The Museum will be open for the evening allowing visitors to peruse the galleries and in two of the galleries, you’ll encounter the dancers performing their original piece.  Additionally, there will be another music and video performance by Jesse Meeker and his friends, Human Mirror Project. You’ll find the guys in the main stairwell on your way into the Museum.

Dance, music, video and art- a great way to spend the holiday season! It’s all free and open to the public. We hope to see you here!
